About the Magazine

Women play a key role in social, political and cultural life and face many challenges. Hence, the role of the media is to improve their realities, highlight their most important issues and raise problems and solutions to address the cultural and societal legacies that hinder their advancement, raise their status and achieve this. "Kuwaiti Women Magazine" in 1991 as part of the activities of the Kuwaiti Women's Voluntary Association for Community Development, with the thoughts and efforts of the pioneer of women's volunteer work, Her Highness Sheikh Latifa Al-Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah, was preserved and sponsored.

Magazine Objectives

To enrich Arab women's culture and improve their image in Arab society, to stimulate dialogue and debate on their issues through conferences and meetings on those issues, to launch press inquiries on phenomena that concern women and affect them negatively or positively socially, and to introduce solutions to their societal status at the Arab and global levels.

The magazine also presents an informative development vision on Arab women's issues and highlights what the media ignores about women's issues.

Hence, the objectives of the magazine's founding and the selection of the name "Kuwaiti Women" are defined as the best expressions of women's issues and those who have the capacity to find solutions to those issues in addition to being the ambassador of women at all local and global levels.
