Press Conference for the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, October 2, 2022.

The Kuwaiti Voluntary Women's Society for Community Service and Development took the initiative to sponsor the awareness campaign for breast cancer, as it does annually in the month of October, in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Society for Anti-Smoking and Cancer, represented by its Chairman of the Board, Dr. Khaled Al-Saleh, and the Board Member and Head of the Awareness Initiative, Dr. Hessa Al-Shahin. Various events are organized at different locations to raise public awareness about breast cancer and its prevention.

The press conference was held yesterday, attended by the Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti Voluntary Women's Society for Community Service and Development, Dr. Mona Al-Qattan, representing the Chairwoman of the Board, Sheikha Fadia Al-Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, as well as members of the Board of Directors and members of the General Assembly. The conference aimed to highlight the Society commitment to serving important awareness campaigns like this one and emphasized the role of nonprofit organizations in supporting such campaigns and events for the betterment of the nation's citizens.
