The Charity Souq for Orphans March 2019

In reaffirmation of the continuous and steadfast support provided by the Kuwaiti Women's Union to all humanitarian and community events that offer distinctive and effective community services to all segments of society, the Union collaborated with the Kuwaiti Women's Voluntary Association for Community Service and Development to host, nurture, and support various sectors of the community, particularly orphaned children. This was achieved by organizing the 40th Charity Souq in support of joint efforts for Orphans' Day.

This event coincided with the celebration and participation in the Arab Orphans' Day. The Souq was held under the patronage of the honorable Mrs. Dalal Ahmed Al-Bashar Al-Roumi, Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Women's Union, along with a group of leading volunteers. The Souq showcased some Kuwaiti products of traditional and handmade crafts and presented the social and economic dimensions of small and medium-sized women's projects in Kuwait
