Participation of the Women's Voluntary Society in the virtual international workshop "Crisis Management" launched by the Arab Organization..

The Arab Organization for Administrative Development at the Arab League organized remote interactive workshops titled "Crisis Management Using Digital Public Relations Tools and Social Media Platforms," internationally accredited in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in England. These workshops were conducted through Microsoft Teams from December 13th to December 16th, 2020, daily from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM Cairo time. Kuwait participated in the event, represented by a delegation from the Kuwaiti Women's Voluntary Society, including one of its members, Ms. Hessa Al-Shwaie. Other Arab countries, including Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, also had delegations in attendance.

The workshop covered various important topics, including:

• How to deal with crises on the internet (before, during, and after).
• Social media as a powerful communication tool during crises.
• Effective communication strategies during times of crisis.
• Reputation management online.
• Social media policies.
• Communication during crises.
• Digital public relations principles
• Monitoring and evaluating online public relations practices.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Rania Abdelrazek, the General Coordinator of the workshop, on behalf of His Excellency Dr. Nasser Al-Hetlan Al-Qahtani, the Director-General of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development, and Mr. Souhail Jarrouj, the Director of Development and Memberships at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in England, presented remote participation certificates to the participants. This workshop was part of a series of activities and events organized by the "Arab Network for Communication and Public Relations" for its members and specialists in the field of communication and public relations working in government and private institutions in the Arab world.
