The Twelfth Gulf Forum in the United Arab Emirates: Under the theme "Community Empowerment for Sustainable Development" November 2019:

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Association of Social Workers in the United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with the Gulf Association of Social Workers, organized the twelfth forum for social workers' associations in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, under the slogan "Social Empowerment and Sustainable Development."

With the distinguished presence of experts, specialists, and professionals in the social field, the association participated in this significant forum in alignment with its objectives and vision, emphasizing the importance of regional presence and community participation. The number of participants in the forum's activities reached 130, including experts, professors, and volunteers working in the voluntary field.
