Dar Al-Quran Activities

The interest of the Women's Voluntary Association in the Dar Al-Quran Center stems from the vision and belief of Her Excellency Sheikha Latifa Al-Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah, who established the first center for the Quran through civil society institutions with the motive of teaching, memorizing, and beautifying the Quran for the association's members. The aim is to enhance social communication, work on instilling the concept of cultural and religious awareness. Throughout the journey of Dar Al-Quran, numerous events, lectures, religious lessons, and internal and external activities have been organized and conducted. The following activities were organized:

  • Conducting an intensive training course for students of the Itarjah class, correcting the recitation of Surah Al-Kahf, and reflecting on its meanings.
  • Organizing a religious competition to motivate students and instill a spirit of competition and perseverance in acquiring knowledge.
  • Celebrating the completion of memorizing and reciting Surah Al-Baqarah.
  • Holding a religious lecture titled "The Assisting Reasons for Patience in the Face of Harm from Creation."
  • Conducting a religious lecture on the "Obligations of Prayer and Voluntary Prayers."
  • Arranging a religious lecture titled "Ladies of the Women of Paradise."
  • Delivering a religious lesson on "Ablution and Prayer for Those with Excuses."
  • Presenting a religious lesson on "Suspended and Temporary Voluntary Acts."
